Ferriday High School, home of the Mighty Trojans, is located in Ferriday, Louisiana, across the Mississippi River, twelve miles from Natchez, Mississippi. FHS's enrollment is approximately 332 students with 30 faculty members. The school has a strong academic curriculum as well as an effective vocational curriculum. Extra-curricular activities are exceptional in each area. In sports, FHS excels in both football and basketball. We go into the playoffs yearly. The Lady Trojan's basketball team won the State Championship in 1996 and advanced to the semi-finals in 1997. Because of their marching precision and their instrumental performances, the band is well known across the state. The FHS marching band brings home many awards, superior ratings, and trophies.
